What's on offer
Muster Balls group class
Will be back in Autumn when it's cooler.
A 5 week course for herding breeds to practice their herding skills using balls. Herding breeds will often have a natural instinct to stalk, balance and position themselves to capture the ball to prevent escape.
A small group class (max of 4 dogs) but each dog gets a turn working in the yard on their own.
Suitable for dogs 6 months and older, no prior experience necessary.
Muster Balls 1-to-1
A one-on-one session where you can really hone your skills or if you simply prefer working without others around. Perfect for dogs that are nervous around other people or dogs and need to have space to work; or if you would simply like to give the game a try before signing up to the 5 week course.
Suitable for dogs 6 months and older.
Get in touch if you'd like to book a 1-to-1 session
Confident Canines
A 5 week course where you and your dog learn to work as a team, build trust and gain confidence to tackle the big wide world together. A small group class with a maximum of 4 dogs.
This class is ideal for adolescent dogs and those that are a bit wary of the world.
You and your dog will learn how pressure leads to good things, how to cope when the going gets tough and ways you can help your dog decompress using enrichment activities. We’ll throw in some tricks using shaping so your dog learns how to problem solve and manage frustration and some conditioning work as confident dogs are strong dogs.
Suitable for dogs 6 months and older that have done some basic training already.
If your dog is extremely fearful of people or barks and lunges at other dogs heavily, please get in touch so we can determine if this class will be good for you and your dog.
Junior Confident Canines
A 5 week course where you and your puppy learn how to communicate and develop your bond to work as a team. A small group class with a maximum of 4 dogs.
There is lots of environmental exposure in this class to help puppies to build the confidence to go out and explore with you. There is a heavy emphasis on games, balanced with learning to settle and just watch the world go by.
We will of course learn some basic obedience skills (walk nicely on a lead, sit, drop, come to you when called etc.). This ensures your puppy grows into a good canine citizen and you can go on your adventures together safely.
We’ll work through some common puppy problems and throw in some basic tricks to teach your puppy how to solve problems.
Suitable for puppies 8 weeks to 20 weeks. If your puppy has had their first vaccination, they can enrol in this class.
